Valentina Elise is Los Angeles based, and creates a range of work from fine art, to online shows. Through the language of visual archetype, her work focuses on the various aspects of the human condition, and how humans as a species justify intentional, and subconscious actions. She relies heavily on visual symbolism, and cultural references to tell stories to her audience, often hearkening to a blend of art history and meme culture.

When she is not making fine art, running the virtual strip club Cool Cats Online, and launching a blog for sex workers’ stories, she sits on the admin board for Soldiers of Pole; a labor reform organization in LA dedicated to improving the working conditions of strippers.
